Windows Vista

We have not tested MediaEngine on any Windows Vista systems. At this time, we recommend using MediaEngine with windows XP only.

It has come to my attention that there are some people willing to completely violate the license agreement that is included with mediaengine. You have to accept this agreement to install MediaEngine
Furthermore, the licensee is forbidden from selling or redistributing the product as stated in the first section of the agreement. IF YOU DID NOT DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL MEDIAENGINE YOURSELF, YOU ARE IN VIOLATION OF THIS AGREEMENT. THAT APPLIES TO PEOPLE WHO HAVE PAID FOR A CUSTOMIZED COMPUTER WITH MEDIAENGINE FROM EBAY,
1. LICENSE GRANT. mediaengine.org ("mediaengine.org") grants Licensee a non-exclusive and non-transferable license to reproduce and use for personal or internal business purposes the executable code version of the Product, provided any copy must contain all of the original proprietary notices. This license does not entitle Licensee to receive from mediaengine.org hard-copy documentation, technical support, telephone assistance, or enhancements or updates to the Product. Licensee may not redistribute the Product. In the event Licensee wishes to redistribute or sublicense the Product, either for profit or otherwise, Licensee must first obtain written permission from mediaengine.org to do so.
Also, the skins that are used with MediaEngine fall under the second statement in the license agreement:
Plug-ins and product components provided with or as part of the Product may be used only with the Product and not on a standalone basis or with any other product. Product APIs may be used only to develop code to work with the Product.
165,000 Downloads!

I was just tallying up the latest amount of mediaengine downloads. We have tracked every download back to Version 1.77F. Adding them all up comes to over 165,000 downloads! Thanks everyone for your continued support for this great app that I am very proud of!
2.3.6 Released

Latest release is available in the downloads section. This release includes some minor bug fixes and feature enhancements as well as the aforementioned addition to GPS options.
iGuidance 3.0 Support

Currently we are working on a solution for the iGuidance 3.0 issue. This includes users not being able to load IG3, IG3 getting "hung" while launching, and being able to hide the "nag" screen using the "nowarning" parameter when launching IG3. A fix will be available in the next release
